I have a few favorite trees, and two of them are near the entrance to the hiking trails next to the Hartley Nature Center. The gigantic willow trees, with their eclectic giant branches that creep out in all directions are magnificent. My big kids love to climb the trees and play pretend (a tree can become just about anything). This week I took my littlest one to get acquainted with the trees for the first time. I love babies and tree bark.
We spent the weekend with my husband’s family at their lake cabin. My nieces are busy, busy girls, but this time I caught some images of Miranda that I really love.

During the month of July I didn’t schedule any sessions, because our new baby arrived in the middle of the month. He was a big boy: 10 pounds 9 ounces, and has lovely chubby cheeks and an irresistible chin. He’s well loved by his three big siblings, and is adjusting to life in our family.
